DFW Demolition Company of Dallas offers the following pre-demolition checklist
Some of the potential problems involved in pool demolition work can be avoided by paying close attention to this checklist:
We now handle pool demolition as our main priority and area of focus. If you need such services, get started below!
- Remove all hardware, mirrors, and everything else that might be broken or lost during the fury of pulling down walls.
- If you intend to save some items for reuse, either remove them or clearly mark them so they are not thrown away.
- When removing molding and trim, or anything that might be reused elsewhere in the house save them. Molding around doors and windows fit into this category.
- Unglazed tile of any sort absorbs dirt and liquids and should be sealed as soon as it is installed. Even so, tiled floors should be covered until the renovation is over.
- New bathtubs, once they are installed, are climbed into and out of by plumbers, tilers, and painters. Even if you are doing the work of all those people, protect the tub with a plastic sheet.
- Cover all items you do not want painted before any painting begins. Paint splatters in all directions, particularly if you are using a roller.
